About We.GROW

Muriah Germano (Founder) is a proud Native and Filipina-American, mother, wife, cancer survivor, mental health advocate, and board-certified nurse. She understands the importance of prioritizing self-care from not only professional experience, but more importantly, from lived experience.

Muriah began the concept of WeGROW in 2018 after she was diagnosed with cancer. If cancer were to ever be considered a blessing, that blessing would be learning the importance of self-care, being present in life, and that every day is a gift.

As a cancer survivor, learning to prioritize self-care was key to Muriah’s health journey. It was a necessity to nurture and practice the “basic” habits of eating a healthy, balanced diet, getting a good night’s sleep, drinking water, exercising consistently, being kind to oneself, and developing the art of gratitude.
